The Power Support HD Anti-Glare film seems to be the most popular option, but it doesn't sound perfect.
The only other advice I can give is to adjust the brightness and see if that helps. Some other users have reported that using the iPad in landscape mode is better than portrait when you are outside, but I can't confirm that.
