Question:

Is there a way to increase the size of my desktop icons as well as the font size?

Answer:

To adjust the size of your desktop icons and the file name text size, go to your Finder by clicking on its icon in the dock or clicking on your desktop. Then go to the View menu to Show View Options (Command-J). From there, you can increase or decrease the icon size, adjust the spacing between icons, manipulate the text size, change the icon positioning, and adjust sorting options.
