How Do I Relaunch The Dock On A Mac?

Answer:
Open the Terminal app from the Utilities folder inside the Applications folder. Type in the following and then hit return.
killall Dock
Please note the command is case-sensitive. After running the command your dock should restart and appear normally.
Additionally, force quitting the Finder will relaunch the dock. Open the Apple menu on the top left corner of the screen and select Force Quit. Click on Finder and then click Force Quit.
