Answer:
Location Services can quickly be turned on or off via the Settings app in iOS, allowing you to prevent an iPhone or iPad from tracking your location. To check or change your current setting, launch the Settings app from your home screen and tap on the Privacy section. Then tap on Location Services at the top of the screen and slide the toggle into either the on or off position, depending on your preference. You can also modify location settings for individual apps from this screen.
These steps have remained unchanged since the introduction of iOS 6 and will work for both the iPhone and iPad.
