How Does The MacBook Trackpad Work?

Question:

I'm just curious- what's so great about the MacBook Trackpad, and how does it work?

Answer:

The MacBook Pro and MacBook Trackpads are innovative ways to control your computer.

They utilize something called gesture control, which you'll also find on iPhones, iPods, and iPads. It means that you can use the movements of your fingers to manipulate the objects on screen. The range of commands is very wide, but they include pinching and expanding photos with your fingers, scrolling down a webpage by dragging two fingers down the pad, and making all the windows you're working on appear and disappear using a four finger swipe. What's more, these gestures are heavily configurable through Apple's preference section.
