Can I Put Two Hard Drives In My MacBook Pro?

Question:

Is it possible to add a second hard drive to a MacBook Pro?

Answer:

It's possible to add a second hard drive to your MacBook Pro by replacing the optical drive (SuperDrive). We recommend using the OWC Data Doubler for this upgrade. It's a simple kit that gives you the tools to remove your optical drive, place it in an external case so you can still use it, and then add a second hard drive in a special bracket so that it fits properly in the optical drive slot. This project will void your warranty, but it's a great solution if you are interested in adding a solid state drive (SSD) to your MacBook Pro.
