My laptop falls asleep too quickly when I'm not using it. How do I adjust the sleep settings?

Answer:

The sleep settings can be adjusted in Mac OS X 10.6 by accessing the Energy Saver panel within System Preferences. You can access the panel by going to the Apple Menu on the top left of screen, selecting System Preferences, and choosing Energy Saver. If you have a laptop, there will be two tabs - Battery and Power Adapter - allowing you to adjust when the computer and display sleep depending on whether or not you are plugged in.
