How Do I Disable Location Services On My Mac?

Can I turn off location services for my MacBook Pro?

It is possible to disable Location Services in Mac OS X. First, go to your System Preferences and select the Security & Privacy panel. Navigate to the tab named Privacy. Make sure the lock at the bottom left of the window is unlocked. If it's locked, click on it and enter your password to unlock it. You should then be able to uncheck the option named "Enable Location Services". Once it's checked, close out of System Preferences to save your changes.
