Answer:

Yes, you can enable automatic log out on a Mac. Open System Preferences (found in the Apple menu at the top left of your screen) and go to Security & Privacy. Click on the General tab and then click the lock icon at the bottom left of the window if it's in the locked position. Enter your password and then click on Advanced. Check the box that says "Log out after 60 minutes of inactivity". You can then adjust the number of minutes before logging out is initiated. Click OK to save your changes.
