I only see the base models on Apple Sliced, what happens if I want to find a deal on a custom configuration for a MacBook Pro?

That's correct, we currently only show the lowest prices for the base configurations of each Mac model. If you want to find a deal for a custom configuration, your best bet is to visit B&H Photo Video or MacMall. Of all the Authorized Apple Resellers, they have the best selection of custom builds.
