Will AppleCare Cover A Cracked MacBook Pro Screen?

My roommate dropped my MacBook Pro and cracked the screen. Will AppleCare replace it?

Answer:
The AppleCare Protection Plan will only cover a cracked or broken MacBook Pro screen if it is the result of a manufacturing defect. Unfortunately, if your MacBook Pro screen has suffered any type of accidental damage you will to pay to have it fixed. The Apple Store will give you a firm price if you make a Genius Bar appointment, but it the final cost will depend on a few variables.
