How Do I Change The Language Of My Mac?

I know my Mac supports multiple languages, so how do I switch away from English to another language?

Answer:
To update the language on your Mac, go to the Language & Region (previously Language & Text) panel in System Preferences. You can access the System Preferences by clicking on the Apple menu at the top left of the screen. Once in the Language & Region panel select the General tab, a list of "Preferred languages" will appear on the left side. Note: any changes will not take effect until the next time you log in.
You can also change your region, time format, and select calendar settings in the same tab.
